Innovit

 

The brief                   

As an IT specialist in both the education and commercial sectors, the client wanted to raise its profile locally in the West Midlands and build a reputation in the education sector as a leader in the field.

 

The campaign

On a regional basis the campaign focused on positioning Innovit and its MD as the jargon-free, informed voice of IT. The agency secured a monthly column for the client on the Birmingham Post e-business page, commenting on topical issues relating to business and IT, in addition to finding speaking opportunities and issuing relevant releases.

In the education sector, Octopus worked with Innovit to support a strategic partnership with a government agency, including PR provision for a nationwide tour. The agency also generated the content for a regular newsletter sent to secondary schools throughout the UK.

 

The results               

The quality coverage secured has helped to treble Innovit’s turnover in the last year and has provided a huge boost in raising the company’s profile locally and in the education sector.
