The client

Creative Partnerships Stoke-on-Trent

The brief

The client wanted to raise its profile in the Staffordshire region and give local people a better understanding of what it did and how it impacted on their community.

The campaign

The aim was to build links with key regional titles including the Sentinel and local radio by arranging photocalls and interview opportunities with schools involved in Creative Partnerships projects.

Octopus developed the corporate profile, through press briefings on changes and plans for Creative Partnerships.

The results

In the first academic year, the campaign generated a 95% hit rate for coverage and the level of awareness of its work has risen dramatically in the education sector and with stakeholders.

The client says

“Octopus Public Relations were recommended to us after a previous agency had failed to deliver a satisfactory campaign for us.

It’s fair to say that Octopus hit the ground running, delivering results within a couple of weeks and restored our faith in public relations.

From the moment they started work for us they quickly grasped what our organisation did and what it stood for.

Octopus has substantially raised our profile in Stoke-on-Trent as well as helping us build relationships with key regional media.”
